Jerry Wayne Walden Sr.

Jerry Wayne Walden Sr., of Burleson, Texas, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022, at the age of 83.

Visitation: 10:00-11:00am Friday, July 1, 2022, at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00am Friday, July 1, 2022, at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Interment: Shannon Rose Hill, Fort Worth, Texas.

Jerry was born on May 6, 1939, in Anna, Texas to Judd Bryant Walden and Fay Lockett. Once he completed school, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas where he married Linda Kay Clark in September of 1957.

He worked for Toppy’s Cabinet Shop and attended Assembly of God church in Burleson, Texas.
Jerry had a love for classic cars and enjoyed attending car shows. He also loved to garden and listen to music.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Judd and Fay Walden; brothers, George Walden and J.B. Walden; sister-in-laws, Joyce Walden and Tiny Walden.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Linda Walden; daughter, Cheryl Miller; sons, Jerry Walden Jr. and wife, Loretta Walden, Darryl Walden and wife Angela Walden; sister, Dorothy Wilkerson; grandchildren, Michelle Farris, Brittany Hunt, Brandi Hildreth, Justin Walden, Nickolas Miller, Chad Miller, Jordan Walden, Leslie Lyon; and 11 great-grandchildren.
