Brother Walter George Hannon of Fort Worth, TX. received his Heavenly Wings on April 2, 2025, at the age of 80. 

Walter was born on April 18, 1944, in Marshall, TX to Walter Hampton and Mary Virginia Hannon. He graduated from Pemberton high School in Marshall, TX. and then joined the Airforce where he became the youngest crew chief in his squadron. He later pursued college courses at Tarrant County Junior College and built a dedicated career working at Standard Meat Company for 20 years and later transferred to Freeman Foods in Dallas TX. as a production manager until he retired.  Walter excepted Jesus Christ at a young age where he developed strong faith. He was big on family and never met a stranger. Walter was well known in the Lake Como Community, and everyone called him Uncle George. Walter was a very hardworking man, and he also owned several businesses. Before Walter's health failed, he loved to ride his motorcycle, drive in his truck, run on the bicycle trail and play basketball with his children. 

Walter was preceded in death by his father, Walter Hampton; mother, Mary Viriginia Harris; 1st wife, Dorothy Hannon; son, Richard Daniels Sr.; brothers, William Hannon, Alton Gooch, Samuel "S. J. " Hampton; sisters, Delphine Jamison, Sharon Rischer and Josie Pearl Whitfield.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda E. Hannon; sons, Paul Daniels (Gayle), Anthony Hannon, George Daniels (Patricia), William D. Hannon (Loraine); daughter, Christina Dismuke (Ezzard Jr.); brothers, Lewis Dorsey Jr. (Reshonda), Roy Lee Dorsey (Joyce), Robert Lynn Harris; sisters, Shirley Bryant, Gloria wright, Darlene McCullough, Jane Harris; 21 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
