Donna Jo Warner

Donna Jo Warner, of Burleson, Texas, formerly of Spring Valley, California, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022.

Celebration of Life: 10:00am Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Skyvue Funeral Home.

Donna was born on September 4, 1947 in Birmingham, Alabama to Don Keedy and Lila Mae Keedy (Brooks).

She received her education from Grossmont College in California and then went on to teach special education at Spring Valley ISD for 10 years. Once relocating to Mansfield, Texas, she worked for Mansfield News Mirror for 5 years and then for State Farm for 25 years until she retired.

Donna was a faithful member of Mansfield Methodist Church and attended The Seekers Sunday School class. She loved sewing and quilting and was a member of Quilting with Hearts. In her free time, she loved to collect milk glass, precious moments and to read.

She is preceded in death by her father, Don Keedy.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Robert D. Warner; daughters, Debra Hood and husband, Matt, Cheryl Francis and husband, Dane; mother, Lila Keedy; sisters, Wanda Allen and husband, Richard, Tina Adam-Carter; Grandchildren and Spouses, Jonathan and Amy Snider, Samantha Francis, Xander Hood, Amber and Casey Skalka, Brandon and Kristi Hood; great-grandchildren, Jaxson Snider, Mirabella Snider, Kirra Porter, Mallory Skalka, Haleigh Hood, Kaylynn Hood, Carson Hood; Nieces, Tara Helland, Mackenzie Adams, Hannah Carter; Nephew, Todd Allen; and numerous other extended family members, church family and friends.
