Warren N. Dorsey

Warren N. Dorsey, of Mansfield, Texas, has gone to be with the Lord on October 20, 2024, at the age of 83.

Warren was born on December 25, 1940, in Beeville, Texas, to Jewell Watkins Dorsey and William Neeley Dorsey. He graduated from Mansfield High School. Warren married Barbara Sampson on August 27, 1960, at First Baptist Church in Mansfield, Texas. He was an owner and operator of a Texaco, he worked for Bell Helicopters, worked for Dorsey Roofing, and served in the US Army and the US Army National Guard. Warren retired with over 30 years of experience as a Master Sergeant in the US Army National Guard. He attended First Baptist Church in Mansfield, Crossroads Christian Church in Grand Prairie, and New Hope Baptist Church in Mansfield. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and coaching his three children in football, even his grandkids too. 

Warren is preceded in death by his parents, Jewell and William; his brothers, Bobby and Paul; his sister, Bea.

Warren is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara Dorsey; his sons, Troy and Leslie Dorsey, Brian and Kim Dorsey, Rodney and Stephanie Dorsey; his grandchildren, Ashley, Kendra, Kolby, Lauren, and Shelly; his great-grandchildren, Ethan, Kaden, Landrie, Tessley, Ayzlee, Enzo, Cruz, hudson, Brinleigh and Olivia; and his great-great-grandchild, Ezra.
