Wanda Mitchell White, 85, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019 after a lengthy illness.
A Celebration of life will be held at 3pm Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Grace Covenant Church: 3402 West Interstate 20, Arlington, Texas 76017.
She was born in the Tage community named for her great-grandfather in Montague County on May 5, 1934 and attended school in Bowie, Texas. A resident of Arlington since 1948, she was a proud graduate of the AHS Class of 1951 and attended Arlington State College, now UTA. She was retired from Amoco Oil, now British Petroleum and Netstrategies and Management.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Tage Mitchell; and father, Paul Mitchell.
She is survived by her joy, sons, Dennis White and wife Emilie of Highland Village, Texas, Paul White and wife Sharlyn Ladner of Arlington, Texas; daughter, Deana Lee and husband Matthew of Arlington, Texas; 8 beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Bryan and wife Monica Lee, Aaron and wife Jennifer, Anna, Laura, Andrew, Ashlynn and Alyssa; stepmother, Sarah Lawing Mitchell; stepbrother, Richard Lawing and wife Debby; stepsister, Doris Tawater and husband Randy; numerous loved cousins and extended family and friends.
