Carl Wiles

It is with great sadness that the family of Carl “Dean” Wiles announces his passing after putting up a great fight with kidney disease, on Sunday April 15, 2018 at the young age of 83 years old.
A native of Picher, OK, Dean attended Oklahoma State University and spent 25 years as a Civil Engineer with the US Army Corps of Civil Engineers in Ft Worth, TX. During his tenure he received several accolades including a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001. He enjoyed reading, writing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Dean will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Patsy Wiles and his son, David Hargis. “Poppy” was adored by his grandchildren and will be greatly missed by Ashley Dillon, Blake Dillon, Jonathan Cripps and Sarah Hargis Molina. He will also be fondly remembered by his great-grandchildren Adison,
Hunter Grey, Brayden, Elizia, Emma and Nicholas.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Maxine Wiles and daughter, Marsha Dillon.
An intimate family visitation will be held on Saturday, April 21st, 2018 from 2pm-4pm at Skyvue Funeral Home in Mansfield, TX.
