William Ray Aslin, D.D.S.

William Ray Aslin D.D.S., 77, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Private Memorial service to be held on Saturday March 15, 2025.

William was born on January 4,1948 to MB and Betty Aslin in Camden, AR.  He graduated from The University of North Texas and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he went on to have a thriving practice in Crowley, Texas for over 25 years.  He loved coaching youth baseball for the Crowley Youth Association and served one term on the Crowley City Council.  William was an outgoing person who loved relaxing by the water with a fishing pole, becoming emersed in a good book, attending and listening to live music, telling stories to his loved ones and making people laugh. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, MB Aslin and Betty Steed Aslin.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Laurie Aslin; sons, Blake Aslin and wife Diana, Brook Aslin, Taylor Aslin; sister, Gail and husband George McGuire; brother, Randy Aslin and wife Teri; grandchild, Will Aslin; many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends too many to name.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Big Bend Citizens Alliance instead.
