William Wesley Pugh

William “Buddy” Pugh, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away on March 31, 2025. 

Buddy was born on February 2, 1945, in Fort Worth, Texas. He retired from Frito Lay after 30 years and also worked as a bus driver and crossing guard for the Mansfield ISD. Buddy served in both the Army and the Air Force Reserves and was a Master Mason of Tabernacle No. 1195 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was also a proud Aggie fan. 

Buddy is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joyce; sisters Genie and Betty Ann; children Chris (Nicky), Megan, Brandi (Matt), and Tracy; grandchildren Mandy (Justin), Haley, Courtney (Josh), Kelsy, Madison, Chloe, Nathan, Jacob, and Sophie; great-grandchildren Karson, Kade, Seyvonn, Silas, and Sevynn; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; and many cherished friends.

 He was preceded in death by his parents Gene and Lou. 

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the AlevCare hospice team for their compassionate care and support during Buddy’s final days.

 A visitation with family followed by a memorial service will be held on April 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Skyvue Funeral Home in Rendon.
