David J. Williams, 67, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family and friends.
Service: 10 am Saturday at Skyvue Funeral Home. Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday at Skyvue Funeral Home in the Victoria Chapel.
David was born in Freer, Texas on November 30, 1949 to his parents, A C and Dorothy Williams. David graduated High School in Monahans, Texas and then attended the University of Texas. He later moved to the DFW area and became a sales associate for the Ryan Mercedes-Benz Dealership in Fort Worth. Shortly after that he became an entrepreneur and started his own auto mobile company that has been successful for over 30 years.
David loved his family and was a man of faith that he relied upon daily. He enjoyed boats, sports and was a very competitive person. David was passionate about American Quarter Horse Show Horses.
David was preceded in death by his parents, A C and Dorothy along with a grandchild, Sawyer Wyatt Letcher.
Survivors: Wife, Kathy Williams; brother, Alan Williams and his wife, Marilynn; children, Keri Ann Letcher, Heather LeAnn Dove, Christen Paige Sanders and her husband, Timothy James Sanders, David “D.J.” Jeffrey Williams Jr.; grandchildren, Mackenzie Rae Letcher, Garin Leigh Dove, Jax Camden Farris, Ella Grace Baker, Jackson Timothy Sanders, Jordan David Sanders and Jacob Christopher Sanders; step-daughter, Lynn Masters and her husband, Michael; step-grandchildren, Julia Lauren Masters, Hayden Scott Masters and Brandon Robert Masters; along with many other loving family and friends who will miss him dearly.
