Willie Edgar Boswell, Jr.

Willie Edgar Boswell, Jr. passed away on January 7, 2024, in Grandview, Texas at the age of 80.

Visitation will be held on January 22, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Skyvue Funeral Home. Services will be January 23, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Skyvue Funeral Home with interment at 2 p.m. at DFW National Cemetery.

Willie Boswell, Jr. was born on September 9, 1943, in Amarillo, Texas to Willie Edgar Boswell, Sr. and Lola Lee Boswell (Hutchins).

Willie served in the Army from 1972 to 1982. He worked hard and earned his Associate Degree for auto mechanics and went on to work for Bell Helicopter as well as serving as a mechanic at Quality Core until his retirement.

During his military years he met and married his love, Ruby Caudill, on November 13, 1979, in Basal Switzerland.

While Willie worked on and fixed things as a career, it was also his hobby. He loved working on cars.

Willie was a member of Bruceville Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist of Vermont.

Willie is preceded in death by his father, Willie Edgar Boswell, Sr.; mother, Lola Boswell; brother, Wayne Boswell.

His surviving family includes his loving wife of 44 years, Ruby Boswell; daughters, Cassandra Boswell, Sarah Corgliano and her husband, Joe Corgliano; sons, Raymond Boswell and wife Amy, Randy Boswell and wife Natalie, David Wayne Boswell, David John Boswell and wife Leah; sister, Sheila LeNore; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren as well as many more family and friends.
