Taylor was born August 16, 1990 in Fort Worth, Texas. The oldest of 6 children, Taylor grew up in Crowley and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt and horseback ride. With his love of life, Taylor enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He attended Crowley High School from 2006 to 2007 where he was a linebacker for the football team. Taylor moved to Fairview, Oklahoma to attend Fairview High School for his junior and senior years and continued to excel at football where he was a nose guard and defensive end. His strength and quick speed were also an asset in powerlifting. Taylor excelled as a powerlifter, ranking 3rd in state in 2008 in his weight division.
After graduation from Fairview High School in 2009, Taylor returned to Fort Worth to work as an Estimator for Southwest Insulation. At Southwest Insulation, Taylor worked beside his father, Phil Wright, and grandfather, Ron Wright, passing down a 30 year family business tradition. In 2013, Taylor pursued a new career as a master welder and moved back to Fairview to work with Waldon Equipment making industrial mining equipment. Taylor loved to design and create, and welding was his true passion.
Taylor's infectious smile had the ability to light up a room. With his big heart, he cared so much for those around him. Taylor's family and friends are truly saddened by the tragic loss of their treasured son.
