Mr. Edward Lee Wynn born in Tyler, TX on March 11, 1946 to the late Hershell Wynn and Parthenia McDonald.
Edward received his former education at Jackson high school in 1964. He held various jobs, including a position with Wayne Feed for several years. His entrepreneurial spirit took over in the 1980’s when he founded and operated his own car wash and diner. He capped off his vision by developing Wynn’s Home Improvement. Lee was a “Renaissance” man, competent in many skills, including: construction, plumbing, roofing, and painting. He was steadfast and tireless in his determination to finish a job. A true “Jack of all Trades”, Lee had an unmatched work ethic and was known for constantly helping others. If you asked Lee, his greatest accomplishment wasn’t his business, it was being a father. What Lee loved more than anything was spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Lee’s family was his pride and joy and he was their hero.
On July 2, 1966 Lee married Martha Johnson. From this union, four children were born. They remained married for 13 years.
He then remarried when he met Brenda Williams. From this union, two children were born. They remained married for 10 years.
Lee is survived by his wife of 26 years, Judy Traylor Wynn.
He is preceded in death by his son, Derick Wynn.
On August 26, 2020 Lee went from labor to reward. He leaves to cherish his memory, his brother, Earnest Wynn Sr. (Dorothy); his five sons, Anthony Wynn (Carmela), Jerald Wynn (Michelle), Stacey Wynn (LaSheena), and Erick Wynn (Catherine); his two daughters, Tanya Wynn and Cassandra Tilley Desdunes; four step-children, Rachel Hargers, Kimberly Hargers, Timothy Hargers, and Reginald Traylor; 10 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren, along with a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends. Lee loved to keep a smile on everyone’s face and he truly left his mark with whomever was lucky enough to meet him. Mr. Edward Lee Wynn will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
