Robert Lee "Bob" Wyrick Sr., 73, passed away Saturday October 1, 2022.
Visitation: 6-8pm Monday, October 10, 2022 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 10am Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Burial: Crowley Cemetery to follow after the chapel service.
Bob was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on May 20, 1949, to mother and father, Louise Bartonek and Feurt Leslie Wyrick. As he grew into adulthood he met and fell in love with Aline "Mae" Blackston. He officially made her a Wyrick on June 1, 1971, in Troy, Kansas. He was an active soldier in the United States Navy and was a part of the Vietnam War from 1968-1970 and was later in the reserves until 1973. Bob was a hardworking man and worked in management jobs for years eventually worked his way into real estate, owning his own real estate company and retired himself from it at the age of 47 years old. He was a loyal member of the Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson, Texas. In Bob's spare time he was affiliated and apart of many clubs such as the Amvets, GTO, AA Pontiac Car Club. He was known to be a self-made man who had a love for his family, dogs, talk shows, a good nap, the history channel and his classic cars.
In lieu of flowers family would like donations to be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Louise and Feurt Wyrick; sisters MaryAnn, Sharon, Patty; best friend, Robert Lee Ray; and nephew, Dwayne.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Aline "Mae" Wyrick; daughters, Shannin and Jason Palmer, Rhonda and Jerry Fuselier; son, Robert Lee Wyrick Jr. and fiancé Kara; sister, Janice and James Aldridge; brother, Leslie and DiAnn Wyrick; grandchildren, Maegen and Jason Raley, Frank Thomas Dixon V, Kody Lee and Alexis Wyrick, Courtney Danielle and Trent Campbell, Mikaela Brianne Beske, Alexis Adriana Wyrick, Gage Logan Fuselier, Ryan Kyle Preston, Jace Bryan Fuselier, Asa Randal Fuselier, Aiden Robert Fuselier, Lane Jaxon Palmer, Izabella Meegan Ross, Robert Don " Beau" Wyrick; great-grandchildren, Cooper Campbell, Jewel Raley, Chandler Farris, Ivy Wyrick, 6 nieces, 7 nephews, special friends Danny Gomez, Dan Myers and many more loved family and friends near and far.
