David Seth Youngblood, 57, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021.
Graveside service: 2:15 pm Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Dallas-Fort
Worth National Cemetery.
David’s life celebration is scheduled Thursday, September 2nd from 6 - 8pm
at The Springs Event Center in Alvarado, Tx.
David was diagnosed with AML just a few weeks ago. His passing was very
sudden.
As a young child, David loved spending time with his family hunting and
fishing. He never lost his love of fishing. He honorably served his country
for 2 years in the Army. He was stationed in Germany. He and Gayla met in a
bible study and they shared a wonderful life together with her son Jacob.
He got to experience the incredible pleasure of a grandson, Jack Henry.
David was passionate about God and sharing His word. David was an awesome
and fearless Real Estate Professional for many years. David loved to work
with children and youth at his church. He was always sharing his wisdom
keys. He wanted people to live life to the fullest and in the presence of
our Lord.
David's favorite saying was "Your thoughts determine your words, your words
determine your actions, your actions determine your habits, your habits
determine your character, your character determines your destiny.”
David is preceded in death by nephew, Tyler Russell.
He is survived by his loving wife Gayla Martin; son, Jacob and wife Sharon
Martin; parents, John and Sharon Youngblood; brother, Chris Youngblood;
grandson, Jack Martin; nieces, Rebecca Rice and Breanna Lively and spouse
Phillip Lively; nephews, Paul Rice and spouse Bethann Rice, Kyle Russell,
and niece-in-law Keannette Russell and many more loved family and friends.
